Note From Mike Huckabee

"Thank you so much for the kindness in sharing The Thanksgiving Game with my family and me. It was very much appreciated. I know that (it) will be a fun addition to our future Thanksgiving gatherings!"

-Mike Huckabee

Former Gov. Arkansas, Presidential candidate and host of "Huckabee," a national talk show aired by Fox News

"I purchased the game for my husband as a 19th anniversary present in Nov. My family and I played the game on Thanksgiving and had a great time.  It was way more fun than we all thought, however, when we found even a better use for the game 3 weeks later. You see, we buried my Mother on Dec. 19th and the next day, we all gathered together. I brought the T-giving game, because I had an idea of how we could keep the memory of my Mother alive. It took some doing with our large family, and no one understood what the game was, how you played, what was the reason, etc. But after explaining to them the right way to play, I explained to them that we would only be thinking of things that we were thankful for that included Mother. So, seven of us children and two grown grandchildren gathered around the dining room table to honor and to remember our Mother and Grandmother. I knew that I could list things that my older siblings wouldn't know about and I'm sure that they were thinking the same thing, but after listing only 3 things apiece that we were thankful for our Mother for, our eyes were opened. The laughter poured, the tears trickled and the memories were alive again just like they had happened yesterday. It confirmed what we already knew, that Mother had connected with each of us in her own way and that she had not only been a great Mother, but a great servant to the Lord. 38 years spanned between my oldest sister and the youngest grandchild playing the game that day. However, we were all connected that day by learning of each other's memories of Mother and what made her so special to each of us.Now I know that we all loved her for different reasons and we will all miss her for different reasons. None of that would have been possible if it hadn't been for the Thanksgiving Game. Thank you!!"

I played your game at your Saturday workshop in Henderson a few weeks ago for the first time.  It was such a great time to play with people that we had never met. I am extremely happy and grateful that this game is going to go into the prison systems (institutional version). I served three years at KY Correctional Institute for Women for stealing from my employer. To make a long story short I missed work one day when I knew the bank statement would arrive. I got caught when the director checked the balance and it was off. I was sentenced to 10 years. I served 3 and was let out of prison on October 21, 2001. I will complete my parole on October 21, 2009. I thank the Lord that I have not been in trouble and that the desire of taking money is now gone. My husband stood by me the whole time.  I just want to tell people that your game is fun to play with strangers but it is so much more fun to play with the family that loves you and wants you to be home with them. It is my prayer that as each one plays this game or even packs the game to be distributed that God will touch their lives and help them know that life is so much more than a life behind bars and a small cubicle to live in. Thank you for the game that you gave me. I have had so much fun with it already and may God bless you and your family for creating this game.
